Professional Mountain Bike racer Scott ‘Boom Boom’ Beaumont has once again signed for Canadian brand Rocky Mountain Bikes. After a clean sweep of the UK National 4X series and a gold medal at the National 4X Championships Scott once again put pen to paper and signed for the fourth year with the high performance brand.
Scott will be racing for Rocky Mountain UK in the World Cup series, UK National series and other selected events in both Downhill and 4X.
“I am super happy to sign with Rocky Mountain again for 2009. This will be my 4th year riding for the Canadian brand, and I hope it will be my best season yet. The bikes I will be riding in 2009 will give me every advantage possible to rack up World Cup podiums, and be in contention for a great overall result come the finals in Schladming in September” Beaumont added.
Rocky Mountain’s 2009 team line-up is looking more impressive by the day with riders representing the brand in every discipline from Olympic XC through to freeriding.
Rocky Mountain UK will have its new team truck at all major DH and 4X events in 2009 as feel free to stop by to check out Scott's rather special 2009 fleet of bikes.
Scott will also be attending a selected number of the Premier Demo Series (http://www.premierdemoseries.com/ ) events which are your chance to swing your leg-over a new 2009 Rocky Mountain and take it for a free demo ride. Scott will be on hand at Coed y Brenin, Cwmcarn and Dalby Forest to give you tips, advice and help to answer any riding questions you may have.
