Next weekend sees round three of the Chain Reaction Cycles British Downhill Series at Moelfre near Oswestry in Shrewsbury on Saturday the 11th and Sunday the 12th of August 2007.
Here's the word from NPSDH.com:
"As you are all aware the recent out breaks of foot and mouth disease are to be taken very seriously, this weekends race WILL be going ahead unless you hear differently here on npsdh.com
No one wants a repeat of the previous spread of foot and mouth, we should all however be proactive and employ common sense, if you happen to drive past the infected farms on you way you might want to give your van a quick wash before you get to Moelfre.
If we are all proactive and do our bit then then there is less chance of it spreading.
Just to confirm, the race IS going ahead, unless this site says different. "
